The artist creates restrained mixed-media paintings centered on material, time and intentional emptiness. Natural textures, eroded edges and uneven washes are arranged with careful attention to proportion and breathing space. Layers of mineral paste and pigment are applied, partially removed and redrawn, leaving traces that suggest weathered walls, stone, soil or distant terrain without depicting them literally. The palette remains close to bone, clay, moss, ink and warm gray, allowing subtle shifts in surface to carry the composition. Influenced by East Asian spatial sensitivity and the broader wabi-sabi appreciation of impermanence, the work finds beauty in irregularity while remaining distinctly contemporary and suitable for quiet, tactile interiors.
