Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about our hand-painted artwork, ordering process, delivery and aftercare.

About the artwork

Are MioGallery artworks printed or painted by hand?

Every physical MioGallery artwork is painted by hand on canvas. Our collection does not rely on a flat printed image as the finished surface; real paint, brushwork and hand-applied texture create the final piece.

How does MioGallery use AI and digital tools?

Our design team uses creative direction and digital tools, including AI, to explore composition, color and atmosphere. A skilled painter then translates the selected MioGallery design onto canvas by hand, building its color, movement and texture with real paint.

Is each artwork a one-of-a-kind original?

MioGallery offers made-to-order, hand-painted interpretations of our designs rather than one-of-a-kind original compositions. A design may be painted more than once, while natural differences in brushwork, texture and color give each finished painting its own character.

Will my painting look exactly like the website image?

Your painting will follow the selected design, composition and color direction. Because it is painted individually by hand, small variations in brushwork, texture, tone and color blending are normal and are part of the handmade process. Screen settings and room lighting can also affect how colors appear.

Ordering & production

How long does it take to prepare an artwork?

Most made-to-order artworks require approximately 1–2 weeks before dispatch. Custom requests, complex finishes, framing and busy periods may require additional time.

Will I receive photos before my artwork is shipped?

Where approval images are included with the selected artwork or order, we will send them before dispatch. Please check the product information and your order communication for the process that applies to your piece.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Contact us as soon as possible. Because many artworks are prepared to order, changes or cancellation cannot be guaranteed once painting, customization, framing or packing has begun. Our team will confirm what remains possible based on the order status.

Can I order several artworks for one project?

Yes. Contact us before ordering if you are planning several pieces, need coordinated sizes or are working on a commercial interior. We can confirm availability, preparation timing and delivery arrangements.

Size & framing

How should I choose the right size?

Measure the available wall width and the furniture below it before ordering. Artwork displayed above a sofa, bed or console usually feels most balanced when it relates clearly to the width of that furniture. If you are unsure, send us a straight-on photo and your wall measurements.

Can I request a custom size?

Some designs may be available in additional proportions or sizes. Contact us before ordering with the artwork link and required dimensions so we can confirm whether the composition can be adapted successfully.

What is the difference between rolled, stretched and framed canvas?

Rolled canvas is supplied without stretcher bars and requires local stretching or framing. Stretched canvas is mounted on wooden stretcher bars and can be displayed as supplied. Framed artwork includes the selected outer frame. Available formats vary by product and destination.

Are the sides of the canvas finished?

The edge treatment depends on the selected artwork and format. Check the product details or contact us before ordering if the side finish is important to how you plan to display the piece.

Shipping & delivery

How long does delivery take after dispatch?

Delivery generally takes 5–8 business days after dispatch. Remote destinations, customs processing, weather and carrier conditions may affect timing.

Do you ship internationally?

MioGallery ships to most destinations served by our carrier partners. Contact us before ordering if your address is remote or subject to special delivery restrictions.

Will my order be tracked and insured?

Tracking details are sent to the email used at checkout after the carrier collects the shipment. Dispatched artwork is insured during transit; please keep all packaging and contact us promptly if there is visible damage on arrival.

Will I need to pay duties or taxes?

For destinations outside the United States, import duties, taxes or customs charges may be collected locally from the recipient. These charges are determined by the destination country and are not controlled by MioGallery.

How will my artwork be packaged?

Packaging is selected according to the artwork’s size, format, weight and framing. Depending on the order, this may include a reinforced carton, custom crate or rigid tube, together with appropriate surface and corner protection.

Returns & aftercare

Can I return an artwork if it does not suit my space?

An eligible standard artwork may be returned within 30 days of delivery when it is unused, unaltered and securely packed in its original condition. Contact us for approval before sending anything back. Return shipping for a change-of-mind return is generally the customer’s responsibility.

Can custom or personalized artwork be returned?

Artwork created in a custom size, color, composition or other personalized specification is not eligible for a change-of-mind return. This does not limit support for transit damage, defects or a result that materially differs from an approved specification.

What should I do if my artwork arrives damaged?

Keep the artwork and every layer of packaging. Photograph the outer package, shipping label, internal protection and damaged area, then contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can review the issue and assist with the carrier claim.

How do I start a return or after-sales request?

Email support@miogallery.com with your order number, a short explanation and relevant photographs. Wait for our instructions before returning the artwork, as unapproved returns may not be accepted.
